At the time of the student strike in 1971, a group of film students, led by the directors Branko Ivanda and Zoran Tadic, started to follow the events with film cameras. After the strike was broken and the leaders arrested and sentenced, the film footage was "stored" in the police archives.

Thirty years after the events, FACTUM recovered one part of the original footage and Branko Ivanda finished the film, which portrayed events that marked not only the lives of its participants but also of Croatia itself.
