Goran Devic was born in Sisak, Croatia, in 1971.

He studied law, archeology and film art at "Academy for Drama Art" in Zagreb, Croatia. His films have been screened at different international and domestic film festivals, including Sarajevo Film Festival (Human Rights International Award for the documentary "Imported Crows"), Rotterdam Film Festival, Soloturn Film Festival, ZagrebDox, Motovun Film Festival and many others.
