Andrej was born in 1970 in Pula, Croatia.
After finishing school, he moved to Zagreb where he studied
Engineering for three years. Finding that this was not his vocation,
Andrej started to travel for almost a year to settle in London
where he studied film at Westminster University.
In the year 2000 Andrej returned to Croatia to make films and
continue his film studies at the Academy of Dramatic Art in
Zagreb.
Andrej received "Best Young Director Award" at the
Croatian Film Festival 2000 for his film The Years of Rust. |
