Born in 1975 in Zagreb. Father Tomo, a building engineer, mother Ana, a shopkeeper (20 years cashier). In 1993 enrolled Academy of Drama Arts in Zagreb, Film and TV directing. Dalibor worked as an assistant director on films of Zrinko Ogresta and Zoran Tadic. Author and co-author of awarded documentaries (Derby, Bag, Good Luck!, When our music roars), short film Silence, awarded film-festival trailers, commercials and videos…

In 2000 he made his first feature film entitled The Cashier Wants to Go to the Seaside which gave him the award for Best Croatian Newcomer Director, best actress and supporting actress awards, the best Debut Prize in Cottbus Germany, Best Actress Award in Sochi, Russia.


Film also opened New directors/ New films festival in New York and had best box-office results in Croatia this season. Dalibor is currently preparing new films: "Draught" and "Nice dead girls".
