Born in Zagreb, Croatia in 1972. Graduate student of Film and TV Directing at the Academy of Dramatic Art Zagreb. In 1997, with two of his director colleagues Dalibor Matanic and Stanislav Tomic and cameraman Mirko Pivcevic, he started a fruitful collaboration on documentaries (Metropolis, Bag, Good Luck) with a specific touch of humour and emphasis on visual aesthetics (received the Kodak award twice). For his graduate film "Promasaj" (The Miss) Stanislav received the "Jelena Rajkovic" award as the most promising young director at the Croatian Film Festival, Zagreb 2001.

He has directed commercials and several documentaries for national TV (HTV).
